However, as students went and came during the potentially eight years at College El, this list is bound to be inaccurate in many instances both in inclusions and in omissions as a record of the "graduating year," 1954. I have taken the list of fourth graders in fall, 1951 and supposed them all in the sixth grade class of (spring) 1954. Ruth Bown has provided some addtions. Diane Dargitz also provided confirmations and queries, as well as many addresses. She can be contacted directly at randdhoward@earthlink.net. Karen Veit has also send additions and corrections.I will publish addresses and emails on this site as folks respond and authorize me to do so.
The Little Chips Junior High Yearbook gives a list of sixthgraders

sisters, Mary (CE Class of 56) and teenaged Ona Mae (CE Class of 48)

killed in an accident. Ona Mae was driving some little home-made
vehicle on the shoulder of west M-20 near their home when they
were
hit by a car. It was during the summer of ’53 or ’54. It
was
SO tragic. The Harlesses had 4 boys, I believe. These were
all of their girls"
